months Sources in response for those suggesting insurance is legal way to rip people off but think of it this way there thousands of people on the roads driving with no insurance. Good luck. Id suggest looking at maybe liability the state minimums for where ever you live. both are required for car though, well depending on what state you live in.

dont know what state youre from, but in Pennsylvania If decided to drive moped would have to motorcycle license and trucking license if was going to drive something more than 26,000 pounds. and yes, you dont have to have insurance in some states but then in the off chance you into more than just fender bender, the other person can end up owning you.
