If appropriate, wash out truck at the job site, in traffic and throughout plant areas. Daily perform pre and posttrip safety check on equipment and the truck to assure safe vehicle. Follows guidelines and instructions by dispatch personnel. Backs truck under loading hopper, starts mixer to receive concrete. Perform minor maintenance to the assigned vehicletire pressure, oil change, lube jobas needed. Drives truck to designated job site for unloading. Assembles concrete chute and attaches chute to the back of the truck. When the workload is light, assist other areasrepairmaintenance in the plant area, yard cleanup,or drive other equipment for affiliated companiesif qualified..
Follows guidelines and instructions by dispatch personnel. Must distinguish between safe and unsafe conditions at the job site and replace chute on truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck. Assembles concrete chute and attaches chute to the back of the truck. Daily perform pre and posttrip safety check on equipment and the truck to assure safe vehicle. Controls appropriate levers on truck to discharge concrete according to specifications from the contractor into wheelbarrow or other conveying container or directly into area to be poured with concrete.
