If they refuse to give you orders over the QualCom system, then they are telling you to do somthing either illegal or against company policy. have not talked to any driver that was happy with how they are treated, even members of the Executive Council are dissatisfied. To all Covenant drivers, have been with this company for less than six months and in that time have learned how to them to pay detention time and how to effectively communicate with then.

If you are told to do somethig, make them tell you over that. If they refuse to give you orders over the QualCom system, then they are telling you to do somthing either illegal or against company policy. If they tell you that the customer does not pay dention pay, remind them that Covenant does. They are disinterested third party and they can provide you with very important documantation. Once message is sent through this system, it cannot be unsent or deleted.

The only shame that find on Dave Parker are that the standards that he built this company on have gone down since he stepped down, so who is to blame for that? Seems that with his step down the lack of respect to drivers has gone also. That is risk of conducting business. Ive been driving for Covenant for almost years That truck was actually in good condition and we drove that truck until my partner quit because they were giving him the run around on his layover pay.

Has anyone ever stopped to give thought to the fact that if the drivers didnt deliver these loads there wouldnt be paycheck for ANYONE?? Does dispatch ever stop to think that alot of us drivers arent getting enough sleep because we are out for weeks & supply the income that allows them to go home each night. Have little dignity and selfrespect and own your mistakes. which is important? would say sleep time!! Dispatch wants respect but doesnt feel they should have to give it?? Mr. Even the dispatchers realize this and try to keep you happy.

If the trainer feels the trainee is not capable, he should be able to judge turns and look farenough ahead to make good driving decisions. YOU MADE THE DECISION TO DRIVE YOUR TRUCK UP ON THAT CRUB. Its called pulling your own weight. And, if youre not, its called dragging. Which usually means, your coworkers are doing your job. Obviously, if there are REAL problems, this great nation of ours has given us the ability for recourse and, in no small measure, discourse. You are not stuck at covenant. 3. had written it off and it has been years.

It would do lot to solve the problem. All in all, Covenant is good company to stay with. Right,,,,after all you seem to be the expert here. The first and last thing you went ranting about in my comments are pretty much the same,,Is it or is it not up to law enforcement to determine fault in the event of an accident??If it is deemed you are at home and in your own car and hit someone because of something you did,,what do the police say??? Thats how trucking companies look at3.
